New technologies do not always guarantee the reliability of equipment. For example, household appliances have become so complex that there are many functions and components that can malfunction. This is also reflected in falling average product lifetimes and shorter manufacturer warranties.

Statistics show that 40-50% of large household appliances are repaired or replaced in their third to fifth year of use. Of these, 30% of large household appliances have needed repairs more than once. For example, in 80% of cases, repairing a TV is more expensive than buying a new one, and repairing even minor faults under warranty can prove resource-intensive or even impossible.

With the additional warranty, you can extend the protection of your equipment against manufacturing defects by 2 years, for a total of 4 years.

You can take out extended warranty insurance with the purchase of your device or in writing by email. If you are a private individual, you can also take out extended warranty insurance for your device after this date, i.e. up to the end of the legal claims period (up to two years after the date of purchase).

If a manufacturing defect or accident has occurred during the extended warranty period, notify LHV Insurance as soon as possible. In the event of damage, fill in the claim form directly on the LHV Insurance website or by e-mail to kahjud@lhv.ee or by phone on 680 1122.
